Description

We are Aitken Robertson, a criminal and DUI defence firm covering the whole province of Ontario. We defend people charged with drinking and driving offences, drug offences, assaults, theft, fraud and other criminal charges, and we also handle Highway Traffic Act and provincial offences.

Drinking and driving defence in Oshawa and across Ontario

We defend impaired driving (DUI, DWI), over 80, refusal and driving while suspended charges, as well as impaired boating. A thorough investigation is often the difference in an impaired driving case: we review the evidence for ways to exclude police evidence or have the Crown’s case dismissed for legal or technical reasons, and we make sure your Charter rights were respected. We also advise on licence suspensions and the Ignition Interlock Conduct Review Program.

A team approach

All of our lawyers play an active role in each case, so your file benefits from several perspectives at the cost of a single lawyer. We keep convenient office hours, return calls promptly and can appear in court for you so you do not miss work. Fee arrangements are flexible, Legal Aid certificates are considered in some cases, and your first 30-minute consultation is free.
