Description

We are Cunningham Swan Carty Little & Bonham LLP, a law firm in the Smith Robinson Building in downtown Kingston. Our Criminal Law team has defended some of the most serious charges in the Criminal Code, and you benefit from their vigorous advocacy and their understanding of the long-lasting effects of the charges you face.

Impaired driving, care and control and over 80

Our criminal lawyers bring decades of experience to impaired driving, care and control and over 80 charges, along with refusal and other driving-related offences. These cases depend on how the police investigation was carried out: the reason for the stop, the grounds for the breath demand, whether you were told about your right to a lawyer, and whether the breath testing was done properly and on time. We review the disclosure, look for Charter issues and explain what the charge means for your licence and your record.

A full-service firm

Because Cunningham Swan is a full-service firm, we can also help with related matters, such as the effect of a charge on your employment, professional licence or insurance. Our criminal team also handles drug charges, property offences and regulatory prosecutions.

How it works

Call our office, tell us about your situation, and we will book a consultation with the appropriate team.
