Description

We are Esco Law, a criminal defence firm in downtown Windsor, steps from the courts. Our firm is led by Paul F. Esco, who has more than 35 years of criminal defence experience in the Windsor-Essex courts and across Ontario. Our motto, “On Behalf of the People,” is on our door because it describes the job: standing between the power of the state and the person accused.

Impaired driving defence in Windsor

We defend impaired driving, over 80 and refusal charges, from roadside screening issues to Charter and evidentiary challenges. These cases are more technical than most people expect. They often turn on how the traffic stop happened, how and when breath samples were demanded and taken, whether your right to counsel was respected, and whether the testing equipment and procedures met the required standards.

We obtain the Crown’s disclosure and go through it line by line, then give you a straight assessment of the strengths, the risks and the realistic paths: resolution, negotiation or trial. We also explain the licence suspension and ignition interlock options that apply to you.

A person answers, day or night

Our phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including for bail matters. What you tell us is confidential from the first call.
